View Full Version : X15MT Version 2.2.0 Upgrade

I tried to load this upgrade on Saturday and my unit would not load it automatically. Just went right into sonar mode.
I checked the MMC to see if it had the update loaded and it did.
Any ideas would be appreciated for the upgrade to work when I power the unit up. Thanks.

I had the same thing happen on my unit, but what I did was download the wrong model to the MMC card, don't know if thats your problem, but I made sure I downloaded the MT version and after that it loaded fine.

No, I have the MT version. I also have a problem with bad contacts for the MMC card. However, I can adjust it so the machine reads the MMC, and can record to the MMC, but it won't load the new software. Maybe this is also related to the problem with the contacts. I am waiting for a new drawer from Lowrance. It should be here in another day or so. We'll see if that fixes the problem with the contacts, then I'll work on the loading problem.

My problem is I can't seem to get good arches. I have the noise reduction turned up to high and the surface clarity up to high also. I feel that my transducer is pointing straight down too. I was trolling at 1.5 mph and nothing seems to show on the screen, yet we were catching lakers in 140ft. of h2o. Sensitivity and grayscale are also on 100 % and nothing. Could use some help here. Thanks to all who answer.
