Would apprecriate feedback on these three units:
Raytheon L470
Lowrance X 85
Zercom 2000
I realize the Zercom unit is more $$. I'm not that familiar with the Raytheon unit.

Just did the research and went with the X85. Most of my buds have got them and swear by it. I've seen the screen display and I like it. With the 3000W of power it's possible to pick up your jig, just like a vexilar fl8. Enjoy!!

I really liked my X-85. That was a really clear unit. I did go to the Pinpoint7520. Believe me, you owe it to yourself to look at these. I have never seen anything in a LCG that comes close. This is truly paper graph quality!!!!

I really liked my X-85 too but after looking at the Pinpoint sonars, I decided to go with 2 7520's. (240x320 pixels vs 240x240 of the Lowrance) You can redraw screens and go back and see things for a second time. They also have a two year warranty and can be sent in and be upgraded if any changes are made. They do have a GPS in the works so if you want a combo unit, it is on it's way. Take a look at the sonars, they are very beneficial with or without a positioning motor. Hope this helps, Chris.
