Over the weekend I stepped on one of my trolling rods. The guide closest to the reel broke. Does anyone know how I can fix this? The rod is a Walleye Angler Signature Series IM6 graphite, model WA76T-T. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I repair rods, and would offer to fix it for you, but I also live in Minneapolis Minnesota. So, your best bet is to check you local yellow pages, find a local repair shop, or a place that sells rod components, they will know where to get it fixed. Should cost you about $15-$25...I usually charge around $15.00

No time like the present to learn a new skill. Pick up an eye, thread and thread finish and have at it. It's really not difficult to make a professional repair. You should be able to find info on rod building on the web. GOOD LUCK
