I own a boat that has a Eagle Magna 2 depth/fish finder and I recently bought another identical unit on garage sale for $5. I hooked it up to my exsisting cables and works fine but when I bought unit, it only came as unit...no power cord or transducer/transducer cable. I wanted this second unit so I could mount on my bow when using bow electric motor (other unit is mounted in back by steering). I've found accessories but I'm having hard time finding which specific power cord and transducer/transducer cable that I need. Also, are ther such things as splitters for these specific cables/cords? I'd prefer to run each off own power and transducer but would like to know if this option is possible. Thanx for any help or push in right direction. Later...

You can order power cables and transducers directly from lowrance/eagle or you can find them in any of the major marine catalogs that carry lowrance/eagle electronics.

hey thanks for responding. I've found accessories for Eagle on many sites but they never say if its specifically ok to use with Magna2. I bought boat and sonar used and never came with manual, exact model #, etc and neither did this 2nd unit. A specific cord/cable will say compatible with ?v-14, v-376 models (made those #s up as example) but they never say specifically Magan 2 and I can't find a serial # or model # on either unit. I'm new to boat fishing, electronics, etc. and this gets really confusing with these order sites. Thank for your help though. I'll keep plugging away until I figure it out. Good fishin! Later...

I feel like an idiot. Right after I posted 2nd message I went to Lowrance/Eagle and finally found specific cables/cords/transducers I needed. I was only a page or two the whole time from where I needed to be. Thanks for the push in the right direction Viking. Owe ya one. Thanx & may you be blessed with a bountiful livewell. :-)

If you buy a splitter let some of know how you like it. I Run two lawrances,one center one back for trolling .Or I'll move the back one to the front when using the electric,It's a real pain in the but switching them because I spend all my time in the boat towards the stern watching rods and its hard to see the reading off the front finder from there.>}

Jimmy,
Most of the websites also include a "contact us" option where you can e-mail their customer service reps or their sales people. I have had good luck and prompt attention from using such an option on most of the sites I have visited.
Further, most sites contain an 800 number for you to call customer service reps directly if the question you have is hard to put in writing.
Last, Cabela's has what they refer to as "product consultants" ... these are people that actually fish, hunt, etc. as hobbies and USE the products that you find in their catalogs. If the customer service rep cannot answer your question (and many of them are NOT outdoors people) they will transfer you to a product consultant. MOST of the time I find those product consultants very knowledgable. If they are not, they will tell you ... no B.S. involved on their part.
Hope this helps.
