Going over to erie next week. Hear a lot about the "Weapon" and would like to know how to make them. We generally make spinners and would like to make these as well.
Weapons are a single hook (usually a gold Abardeen around size 1) with 5 small beads and a # 2 or 3 hammered gold blade. The snell length is about 16" and a weight is attached to the top of the snell 1/4 - 1-1/4 oz. The trick is to only use a small piece of crawler (2" max) {1" is better}. Most fishermen just drag them. good luck.
