Pulled out a new 'dawg on my trip to Canada, first time I had ever used one. 2 casts and had a hit! I guess I should be happy with a 39" northern, but it wasn't a musky, @#* it. While working to remove the hooks, the fish spun in the net and tore the tail of the 'dawg about half-way off. Is there some way to repair this? Or, is it use it 'till it's gone? Thanks for any help.

Heat weld it with an electric soldering iron.

Not sure about a Bull Dawg, but I've seen guys weld two pieces of worms together with a lighter.

A lighter works well...melt it and push together. I also use a small bottle of "soft plastic glue" that does a good job.

What about replacement tails if the tails are completely torn off?? Any suggestions? Thanks!

super glue the damaged area first, then light the wet glue, it burns well and long enough to melt the damaged area together really well.
