Congrats to all the top finishes this past weekend.
Joe Fisher and Chad Swanson were the winners on Sunday with +25lbs, they also took Big Fish and had the 2nd Place finish on Saturday with +21lbs.
Great Job Guys!

What were the slot sizes? How did they get that much weight with a six fish limit and only 2 over 24". They must have had a couple tens and the rest right on 24. WOW... i bet they didn't even notice it was snowing and 35degrees lol. good job guys

There was no slot or 2 over 24" due to it being border water.
Minimum 15"

They weighed in before we got there and their biggest was 10+
and I heard (did not see so I can't say for sure) they had one "small" fish around 2 lbs.

I can say for certain that they knew it was NASTY out there. We fished Sundays tourney but pre fished Saturday - came in for weigh in but missed the winners weigh in. Sunday was better but still bad.

Check on the MTT website in a couple days. The picture will be there.

We were not exactly throwing 7lbers back. What happened was we foul hooked a 8 to 9 pound fish so we had to release it. If that fish would have been hooked fair and not foul we could have weighed 52 to 53lbs with 6 fish.
A rough break down of the fish weighed in is One 10 Two 9's two 8's one 2 pounder = 6 fish for 46lbs. All fish were spawned out females and released in good condition. WOW!! What a fun day!-----Randy

Congrats and great job Randy! How did you do on Sunday? Noticed you didn't weigh in and was just wondering. Hard to believe you guys got blanked. Are you going to be fishing any of the other MTT events? Sat.was our first tournament experience ever and it sure was fun, and an eye opener. Hope to get a chance to chat at one of the other events.

Hey eyewitness Thanks for the congrats!
Sunday was not are day. We must have used up all are luck on Saturday.
The area we caught are fish on sat. was being pounded by other boats from both tournaments. So we decieded to make a milk run to the other 5 or 6 spots we had caught fish prefishing. That did work out all we could come up with was one 3lb fish. We fished hard right to the bitter end looking for that one big bite that was not to be. Used up to much time and could not get back in time.
No we a not fishing any more MTT tournys this year. Decieded to take this year off from traveling to out of the area tournaments. Maybe next year.
I hope you enjoyed your first tournament experience and wish you the best of luck the rest of the year! Tournament fishing is great fun and full of excitment with high highs and low lows. You will meet great people and make many new friends! GOOD LUCK! Randy
