Heading to a plateau reservoir next week. Lake has size limit of 18 inches - good. Last year caught numerous 17.5 etc, and one 6lb. Reervior is a river basin filled for irrigation. Maximum depth 60 ft. Forage consist of the usuals - minnows, shad, perch etc.

This year we are planning to fish solely at night. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I would look for inlets coming into the reservoir. Cast jigs and rapalas just on the edge of the current. Night time is the Right time.

While you didn't mention the name and location of the reservoir, I would recommend looking at shallow points with rocks (if available) especially windswept ones.

Cast Reef Runner Little Rippers or Ripsticks across and along side of the points.

If your fishing from a boat, longline the same baits around the contour or spread the baitsbehind Offshore boards to reach out to the fish suspended off of the points.
