Wow--not taking anything away from the pros out there, but look at those weights, compared to Lake Erie weights.
No more complaints around Lake Erie ! ! !

You must remember that this is not only a slot tournament, but it is also a no cull tournament. Once a fish has been tanked, it cannot be exchanged for a better fish. Ths slots are such that you can only have one fish l per angler that is over 18 inches, and the other 4 fish must measure between 15 and 17.99- inches, so there will not be any big weights in this tournament. 14 to 17 lbs each day will allow you to cash a check, my guess is, assuming that your two kickers are 4 apiece. Would anyone pitch a 4# back, in hopes of catching a 7 or 9, since you cannot sort once they are in the well? It is a crap shoot! There may be some 7-9 # that are released if caught in the wrong order.
If any of the pros catch a 4# it's going in the livewell in this tourney. No-cull makes it interesting!!!

I just got back after fishing Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the river section of Lake Sharpe. There is a pretty good bite going on. Caught 6 on 4/28 17" to 18.5", 27 on Monday 16" to 18.5", with 1 at 21.5" and 11 on 4/30 in 3.5 hours. I got really lucky and found quite a few 17.5" slot fish. One problem I had on Monday was that 14 of my fish were 18.25" to 18.5" in size. If you already have 1 over 18" in the box the rest go back in the drink. I would guess that it would take 45 to 48 lbs. to win the tournament. It's not Lake Erie, but who wants to catch all those 10 pounders anyway. :) It was really fun seeing all the nice boats and talking fishing. I wish I could have fished in the tournament. I hope Juls makes a run at the leaders. Good luck to all and I hope they stay safe with the river being low, with lots of sandbars.
