I've been trying to order a FigRig rod since last Saturday.

1st - Tried to order on-line. Got an error.
2nd - Tried to call them. No answer, no voicemail.
3rd - Tried again on-line using a different pc. Same error.
4th - Tried to call again. Gal said Kevin was not in.
5th - Sent another email telling him about error and giving him my home, work, and cell numbers, along with email address.

Is this company still in business? If this is how they handle people trying to give them money, how do they survive?

Are these rods REALLY worth this much effort? I sent him yet ANOTHER final-chance email just a few minutes ago. If I don't hear from him by tomorrow, I will be heading to Scheels for a new Legend Elite.

Anybody else experience this kind of deal with them? I now have to wonder if the warranty/cust service down the line will be this "good".

Been down this road...still waiting for a catalog since last year. Like you I turned to the Elite...won't regret it.

Don't know why you're having a problem connecting. I've got rods from them in the past and just got two more rods from them recently - never had a problem - always been treated well. It's a small company and I know Kevin has other businesses he operates. I'm sure the lack of communication is not intentional - keep trying. The rods are EXCELLENT quality and value and worth the wait!

Scheel's? Why not wait for their anniversary sale? I think it starts sthis weekend, maybe it's on already.

That's like comparing a Cadillac to a Lexus (sorry to say). If you can afford it, just buy the LE. It's the best rod on the planet.

I think you are right, I will just buy the Legend Elite. Life is too short to be messing around with this kinda stuff. If I'm having this kind of trouble trying to give them my money, I can only guess what kind of service I would get after they cashed the check, should I need it.

I wish FigRig all the luck in the world (and from what I've experienced, they just may need it). Too bad. I usually like to see small businesses like Fig succeed.

Thanks to everybody that helped me make the decision.
