I was just wondering if everyone has made it out fishing
yet. I see there are still a tremendous amount of posts.
I'm in the middle of the states so I've been at it for
a couple months now. I try to catch up here every now and
again. Good luck to everyone and I hope you're all catching
some of them eyes.

I have only been out once so far...not too happy about that. Things are busy at work and I just bought a house in December so that is taking up time. Once things get back to normal, I will be out a lot more. Can't wait.

Fished one small lake here in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada. Ice out on this lake was about 3-4 days ago. Still ice on the main lakes. This little lake has pike and smallies. Walleye doesn't open till the 3rd Sat. of this month.
Had one little pike follow up (was shore casting).

With the mild winter here in Illinois we did not get much ice, so I was fortunate enough to fish all winter long and catch walleyes. Downside to this is that the fish don't get as big here, and once the water warms up in late May they become more difficult to catch. Unless you fish nights they are a pretty tough bite in the summertime.
