Pet barrier for my Tahoe

I have 2nd row buckets on my Tahoe, and the pet barrier I purchased (Pet Lodge) doesn't offer any type of an extension to fill the hole created by the buckets at the bottom of the barrier. Any recomendations on a barrier that would solve that problem would be appreciated. THANKS

I used a folding kennel in my Suburban. When our kids grew up and left the nest, the dog and kennel got moved to the folded down second seat (bench seat). He liked being closer to his people.

I use a a Remington plastic dog box in my Tahoe. Light, portable, roomy for my lab and would better protect him in an accident. He loves to ride and has room to stand or stretch out with no problem. Keeps his muddy wet feet in one spot when we hunt and is easily hosed out.
