I was watching the AIM coverage the last two days and one thing stuck out to me. Both days the MC stated that the tournament was being streamed live on 4 site's. AIM, Wired to fish, The Next Bite and W/F. Not once was Walleye Central mentioned. I found this strange since here I was watching it on here. One Team on stage said he wanted to say hello to all his Walleye Central friends watching the weight-in.
It looked like a direct snub to me. I want to thank Walleye Central and Juls for the Great job of keeping us up to speed on the tournament coverage. Good job and keep it up please.
And yes we have Walleye's in Kentucky.

AIM was referring to partner sites that are re-streaming the official AIM stream. It wasn't a snub, they mention media that show up, including WC, at every event.
Thanks for watching on WC, Eric! We appreciate your support...

Episode #88 The Case of “Now Where Did I Put That Media List?”
Sitting in my wading pool, sporting a colorful inflated duck around my waste, my neighbor William came over to ascertain if his idea of a walleye civil rights rally would gather enough attention to attract the media. Honestly I did not think so because Willy wanted walleye rallies so Willy really rallied walleyes but walleyes worried Willy’s rallies would rally really wily whiteing ruining Willy’s wonderful walleye rally. After five tries of repeating it William decided to just agree with me and drop the whole idea.
Just as Willy left my sight the walleye pool phone rang, it was Commissioner Carl calling to counsel me on a crisis coming and commanded my help. How could this be? I was in a wading pool and any sudden departure on my part would certainly draw the eyes of neighbors and Indubitably-doo give away my alias!
I slowly reached for the bottle of dish detergent I keep close by and poured it into the pool. Then without thought I trumpeted stored gas from my all baked bean lunch and discharged it out of my posterior, creating a ever so rising shield of bubbles as the turbulent water beneath me became five degrees warmer. Once the my temporary cover reached the optimum height of eight feet I made a mad dash through the bubble wall avoiding all unconscious woodland creatures and leaving my skin silky smooth.
With the urgency of the situation I had no time to change into my attire…besides the soapy bubbles left a thin, slick layer on my skin so I just took a running start in the direction of the water and belly flopped onto the road and slid over 150 feet into the river. The only trace I was ever on land was my pair of swim trunks latched onto the cut tree stump I so painfully glided over in my pursuit of justice…for I am The Masked Avenger!
Covering a championship is not a cheap task,
Sending reporter out for live streaming blast.
Multi media coverage is the theme of the boast,
But ignored a big player when giving the toast.
Forgot to mention one of the media hub,
Did not acknowledge but don’t call it snub.
Don’t get upset our intentions were pure,
If we can pry ourselves from staring in the mirror.
Other media outlets would pack up and leave,
If they were presented with this little tease.
But total recognition is not what this website desires,
Great walleye coverage is what keeps them inspired.
People are not fooled by this Freudian slip,
Intensions are noticed with premeditated blip.
With an industry that needs media coverage a lot,
The last thing to do is give one of them the black spot.

Apologies are in order if that is the case,
Pardon me a minute as I wipe egg off my face.

I'm working afternoons this week in the office and watched start to finish. I know one of the teams that are fishing. Nothing on the first day and the only time they were acknowleged was after the one team mentioned them on stage.

Keith mentioned WC at the exact same time as he mentioned the AIM web stream partner sites. The AIM MCs are fishermen and women, not trained, professional public speakers. Tommy mentioned Juls and WC at the Akaska, too, so there's no snub or conspiracy here.

I know I'm getting old and my hearing might not be what it used to be, So I just went to the Aim site and watched the weigh-in again. It's just like I said..... No mention until it was brought up by the 3rd team to weigh-in. Which was after the MC named where it was being aired. Nothing was said on day one. If you have any doubts go watch for your self. A film is worth a thousand words. They have the proof.
Besides that all I was asking was when a site that covers all tournaments and promotes the sport gets no credit for helping promote them. I just did'nt get it.

keep in mind the original poster was suggesting a direct snub
I think the point people are trying to make is it was not a direct snub or any conspiracy to dis WC

It might be that way Bill, but why would they not mention all the people doing coverage. Here we are watching and chatting during the weigh-in on a site they don't even talk about openly unless it was brought up by a fisherman. I know what I saw and heard and thats how I took it. I missed the other South Dakota tournament but perhaps I'll go see what happened there.

Keith was talking about what was displayed on the stage monitors the crowd is watching at that time and where that stream could be viewed. What the WC stream offers is much different, and that's not what was being talked about.
I have watched dozens of events out there, including many FLW events, and VERY rarely if at all does the MC mention any media except for their own and their partners. It's not a 'snub' at all.

What it comes down to is it is a business!
Were any of you watching today?
Not only did they mention us, but they mentioned that WC is the largest Walleye Website on the internet...
