Musky replica

I need some recommendations for getting a replica made of a 50" 36 lb Musky I caught in Canada this summer. Never had any replicas made and this is a special one. Really would like someone that has done musky before.

I don't know where you are located, but a great taxidermist I have used in Ohio is Rick Weber, telephone number: (330)482-4168. He is truly an artist and has done several fish for me including skin mounts and replicas. I know he has shipped mounts all over the country and probably could ship one to you. If you're interested, give Rick a call and he will answer any questions you have. He has a lot of experience with musky mounts and loves to fish in Canada himself. Congratulations on your fish!

My buddy got one day at LAX reproductions I believe it ran him around 650 shipped, same size as yours but it was 50 1/2 and a fat fall slob burried a 30 pound boga like nothing 2 charters on st clair who we are friends with both said fish was around 35-37 pounds.

Here are pics. crappy cell phone pics in a dim basement so the colors really don't show well but it looks awesome in person IMO just like the fish. The colors hues of blue, green, gold are super deep and really portray a regular skin mount.

He does all my work. He used to do all the Cabelas fish (not sure if he still does). I also know he was commissioned to do the World Record Brown Trout caught last fall (which was broken again this spring).

I have seen a number of Kevin's replicas and they are incredible. His musky mounts are well done with several that are very unique. He won the master award in the Wisconsin and Illinois Taxidermy competiton the last two years.
