Does anyone know anything about this reel? It has 11 ball bearings and looks really solid. Sounds like a good reel for the price.

i got two at the start of the season and so far they have worked great ilike it so much ive been using it instead of my bait cast that ive used for years its a really smooth reel and a very good deal for the money

I picked one up at the Cleve. sports show this year. You are right on two counts. It is smooth and it looks good. I believe it is mfgrd in Tawain, supposedly by the same company making reels for Daiwa. I haven't been overly impressed with the reel. It could be the line, but it does not come off the spool well. I haven't had it long enough to check durability.
