If you are looking at inland lake fishing w/o downriggers etc. I would think that your top options would be heavy jigs 1-4 oz and blade baits like Sonars. Northland has larger bucktail jigs w/ stingers that have worked well for me. Airplane jigs are a nice option too. To work all of the above, drop all the way to the bottom and then reel all the way back up and repeat. You can pause to jig in intervals on the way up or down. If you bring heavier tackle try trolling large spoons or dodger and fly/squid on a 3 way behind about a pound of weight. A dead Cisco sitting on the bottom is also tough to beat.

Get a couple snap weights (8 oz)and slow troll spoons or rapalas. I have had luck on blu/silver spoons or blu/white rapalas. On Eagle Lake they do well using Super Shad Raps in Blu/white.
