I am more of a walleye fisherman but I do participate in an annual muskie tournament in Vilas County, WI. I used to enjoy fishing with suckers - kind of a lazy but fun way to fish. Now I have found out live bait is no longer allowed. These are clear lakes. Any opinions on what artificials I should try? Any spray-on scents? I realize there are alot of options, but there are always some good ideas in this forum. Thanks in advance.

we have been using these tubes with great success here on the Niagara River and Lake Erie for muskies. They seem to be the hot new bait

Thanks Rebs... the tubes look interesting. I'll give them a try.

they are extremely effective when drifting and just bounce them along the bottom, not a constant drag on bottom but kind of hop, hop, hop. Trolling with a snap weight ahead of them to rteach the depth you want, then pump the rod tip ahead every so often. When the line gets a little slack the tube kind if flares out with a pulsing action.

I purchased some 10-inch tubes and hardware. Their videos show alot more action then I would have anticipated. I'll keep in mind the snap weights. Thanks again!
