LOOKING FOR YOUR FAVORITE SUCKER RIG...EASY TO HOOK? CLASP? WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND IT?:huh:

I use a new rig from musky psycho tackle...a guy in my club makes them....just getting his business up and running.

It all depends on the size of the sucker. Smaller suckers fished under a bobber can be hooked with one treble hook under the dorsal fin. Larger suckers 10 to 14 inches can be rigged with a harness with a hook in the back and a single hook in the lip. Large suckers 14" and up, are good for lift off rigs. They have more mass and it is easier to rip the rubber-band to get the correct hook set.

windigo...what brand of rigs do you recommend? I have trouble with certain clasps...they seem to hard to open...are there rigs with easy-to -open clasps? thanks...MH34:huh:

I use the Herbie Rig, I have tried alot of diffrent rigs and found the Herbie Rig the best. I like the safety pin on them. I can use the same sucker for 2 and sometimes 3 days due to not jamming a hook into the side of the sucker. After a day of fishing I take the rig off of them and put back in the live well, next day I put pin back in same holes.
