Yesterday couldn't have been any better, we had the best crew of fishers, The best weather for October 10 and the Yellow Perch even gave up there bounty. We headed over to Pelee Island Canada and got our day passes and returned to the spot we fished on Saturday west of Sheridan Point. The perch were there and we caught our 7 person limit and headed back to Catawba Island. We caught all perch using tri-rigs tipped with lake shiners on the bottom.

Don't all passangers on board need a passport since you landed your vessel in Canada? I was thinking they really got tougher on those laws?

We have a neat system for this procedure, we send a text message by cell phone to our contact on Pelee Island, day tickets are $20 and we tip $5 per license. We place info and cash in a plastic peanut jar and toss them jar to our contact. She gets our license with out touching shore and we head out to fish, legally.
