Hey guys my buddy and myself are thinking of taking his old 12' camper trailer and convert into a ice fishing house. We want to take the wheels which are under the camper and have a built in wheel well inside the camper and make them into a crank down to the ice wheel system.
Looking for ideas and or suppliers of parts that we will need to accomplish this.
Thanks!

From what I can see on their web site they do not offer them. I plan on giving them a call.
Thanks!

why make it a crank down? I was going to go that route last season and ended up settin it up as a tuber system. Ther trailer sits aprox 20" above the ice and I fish through commercially made tubes and use a "fish elevator to get my fish up the tube. Works better than any shack I have ever seen and is 10x more mobil than others. here is a thread from last season of my shack...I would set it up "tuber" style way before I would do crank down........2 cents.

TeamLund, went looking for your thread from last year, no can find. Do you have and pics of your house and how you made the tuber system? What was the brand of tubes sleeves and hatch covers that you used?
Thanks for the info!

Stinky, I read your PM, I did use the catch covers in my shack. They are awesome! I bought them on-line but i did see that Fleet Farm occasionally has them. It is 10x better than the old PVC tubes. These are wind proff at the top and if you seal the bottom with slush/snow its 100% windproof. here are all the pics I could find hope it helps. also if you set up a "tuber system" the fish elevator is a must!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6DaA22IV7U

Here are some crank down wheel assemblies. They aren't cheap but they would be up to the challenge anyway.

Good Luck.
