MH34-I have had good results on the lakes you will be on. Mine is in the perch/fire color. My experience has been that the fish follow it first, then hit. If they are following, I speed it up and then slow it down a little, this usually gets them mad enough to at least slap it. Couple of time they have come straight up out of the water with it. Learned the hard way not to set the hook on the jump. Let them hit the water again with it, then rear back hard. Otherwise you get a 3, 4, 5, or 6 oz lure and hooks coming back to the boat about 100 mph! LOL! If it's a calm day, try it out on Lynch Bay in Teal while you're there! Best fishes!:smirk:
