Start looking for a suitable replacement trailer. Bummer
I could have told you that Tracker wouldn't have done anything! I've owned two targa 2000's and both the boats came in cracked up! They repaired them both only to have them crack up again. Not to mention it took over 5 months to get both repaired. The customer service people were extremely rude and were unsympathetic to the problem. Tracker acted as if I had done the damage to the boat intentionally. I don't mean to sound nasty, but when you pay 33,000 for a boat you expect things to be done right!! I have had no luck with tracker and will not buy another one.

AMEN to that Ted!!! I had a 1999 Tracker Targa for about 2 years and the ##### thing was falling apart. Cookie Cutter boats for sure.
Maybe the new Tundra's are good boats but I could never muster the Balls to buy another Tracker!!

The Targas seem to hold up pretty well to the beating that Kavajecz and Parsons put on them. Just an observation

Well we really don't know how well the Pro's Targa's actually holdup.
They could be getting repaired frequently and wer would never know. Lets not Forget, the big time pro's are payed well and taken care of to drive those boats. MONEY TALKS!
I tried to refrain from this post but I feel like there are things that need to be clarified. I am not a big time pro but I am on the State Team for Tracker. I am confident enough to say I could find another boat deal but why. I fish out of a Tracker because I feel they are the best big water walleye boats on the market. Do they have flaws? You bet they do. What boat doesn't have a flaw? Have I had a crack on either Tracker I've run? No. I feel it's unfortunate you guys have had bad luck, but that is exactly what it is. Bad luck. My Tracker boats have more than fullfilled my expectations. The other thing is this. This post started by a guy asking for help concerning a Tracker trailer and has turned into a Tracker boat bashing post. This is unfortunate.

all boats trailer etc. have problems. I have never owned a tracker but dollar for dollar you get a lot of boat with decent quality. Sat. my brother and I watched boats run up and down the detroit river and would comment on the ride, you could tell a Lund a mile away because they were a giant spray of water everywhere and pounding up and down, but Lund sponsors the heck out of their pros and ads. Then we saw a smooth running boat planed out perfect and it was a Tracker tourney V-18, looked like a great ride(everyone had all of their dental work and was dry!) anyhow, realize the trailer was probably outsourced to a major trailer manufacturer and has nothing to do with the boat. I have a $50K center counsel that has its flaws, so I know your anger, be persistent boat manufucterers will some day learn that we write their checks, tracker lund crestliner etc. they all fight to not put time or money back into a sold product.

When someone gives an opinion on a boat why are some people so quick to call them boat bashers????? Who ever said everything that was said about a boat had to be something positive....lighten up....this is the land of the free!!!!

I had that happen to my trailer about three months ago. Do you know how I fixed it? I bought a Trailmaster (no, not a piece of junk Trailstar!) Sometimes we just have to learn the hard way.

1 have a 93 magna series boat, and to date, all i have done to it is fix one crossmember by the axle,it rusted through due to the drainhole being plugged, but i have fixed the fenders so they dont break off anymore, there is a weak design there, all the lights have been replaced, due to i didnt like the lights on there.all the wiring to incorporate reverse lights and a few extra lights on the trailer also.the bunks have been replaced also, but after 5 yrs they were done.
tracker trailers are warrantied for 1 yr,only.and if you bought it used, well,no warranty.best thing for you to do ia find another trailer of your liking and put your boat on it.it being a tracker,a cox,a shorelander,or whatever, thats your choice.
