I started using tungsten ice jigs by Skandia last year. My local Fleet/Farm had a small supply of them and I was pretty impressed with how well they fished. I jig for perch quite a bit in 10-20ft of water and when the bite is on it's nice to have that tiny but heavy jig rocket down deep.

The mailman delivered a pile of Fiskas Wolfram jigs to me today. These are also tungsten and I have to say the finish on these things is fantastic.

The heavier my jig box gets the lighter my wallet gets.:muahaha:

I picked up a bunch of the fiskas last season too. You will have to let me know how you like them. For crappies, I found the hooks to be just a tad too small and was losing a lot of fish on the way up.

I had better luck with the diamond jigs in size 10. Those are about the perfect weight for fishing small plastics in about 30 ft.

If only they would make those in tungsten.
