im looking to buy land for hunting, and im looking at iowa or missouri. my question is, im a non-resident, which state will allow me a non-resident land owner license. i don't want to go thru a drawing for a license. im talking about deer and turkey hunting. thanks in advance.....pepe

Sorry but you will have to buy in Mizzou! I understand that is is very tough for a iowa non resident to get a tag! In mizzou you can buy them over the counter! I base this mostly on hearsay but pretty sure it's right! I hate having to recomend anyone to buy something from accross enemy lines but in this case u might have too! Rock Chaulk!
thanks walleye jim. in my home state of indiana, you can buy them over the counter also. so many of the states have gone to a lottery and i think its a shame. i wonder if its because they hold your money for many months in esgrow and they must get the interest on it. and later they tell you, you did'nt win ......pepe
