Just seen a new Jiffy powered with propane... not a bad plan if it works good. gas is messy, gets old, stinks, and not good if it ends up in the shiners that i just took out a loan out fo pay for them. I have a jiffy that i can never get to run right so i was thinking if its possible,...try to convert it over?? I always have propane when i'm on the ice anyway. If anyone has any knoledge they would like to share it would be awesone. Even if i'm just dreamin and its impossible, thats good info as well. Thanks...Good Luck and Be Safe on the ice!

The new Jiffy propane auger is a four stroke. You need oil mixed in your gas with a two stroke engine and there is no way to get oil to the cylinders if you could convert it to propane.

If you guys have ever tried the 2-stroke JIffy 3HP models and thought they were heavy. Well guess what the new 4-stroke propane models are about 3 pounds heavier then the 3HP models. Try picking up one of the 4-stroke propane models.
