just returned from chamberlain last night. this was a really fun event. the pros and co-anglers had their work cut out for them with the weather and wind. it was tough out there. i had a few chances to talk with the "champ" and he is a great guy. tom backer was a very gracious winner with alot of class. as a rookie pro, it was awesome to be part of this tournament. i have fished alot of circuits in the past and i just would like to say, these guys are great fishermen. preparing for our next stop... congratulations tom!
fish on! jim carpenter

Way to go Tom. Finally ! You have been close before, but you now have crossed the finish line in first. Thanks to you, Dave, Ted & Perry for sharing your knowledge about fishing. I had a blast fishing with you the first tournament day. You could have had better weight the first day though. See you in Leech.
