HAS ANYONE CROSSED INTO CANADA VIA INTERNATIONAL FALLS LATELY? HAVE A FEW GUYS IN MY FISHING PARTY WITH SOME ALCOHOL RELATED CONVICTIONS AND ARE A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT BEING DENIED ENTRANCE.

Make sure they have extra cash along or a ride home! $200 Canadian IF you get caught.

How does Canada know if you've had an alcohol violation? I've crossed the border dozens of times and never even been asked about DWI's, etc. Do they run your plates and if so how can Canada find out your U.S. driving record?
I've never had a DWI or DUI so it isn't an issue with me, but I'm just curious as to why this is such a problem.
