I have a 19' 6" Texas Dory.To insure,I've always paid big bucks($700+),which is as much as for full coverage on my 23" offshore CC(a bit more,actually).I would like to carry liability insurance,and assume replacement and such on my own.I am not aware of this being possible--but you will know--thanks Bob!The boat has a 25hp tiller and weighs under 700lbs,while my CC has a 200hp and 120 gallon capacity.The industry seems to let this niche slip right on by---am I stuck with going through renter's insurance?
