If you had one hundred dollars to spend on a rod for jigging what would you get? I had a pole yanked out of the boat while I was netting a buddies fish at the back of the boat, so now I need another jigging rod, any and all recomendations are appreciated, thank you.

I realize that I spelled my handle wrong after the fact, and I understand that a hundred isn't alot of money these days but I sure could use the help...

Check out the bass pro line of walleye rods. In my opinion one of the best values out there in rods right now. The HM-85 is a nice rod and right at your price.

The Wal-mart here has some real nice fenwick rods. I have 2 of them. They are about 50 bucks and have the good fenwick warrenty. I have caught several walleyes on them so far this year and have the rods have done very well for me.
Thanks,

.......Definitely check out the Fenwick "Venture" rods at Walmart.
They're clearly a cut above anything else you'll find in a retail outlet and like previously stated, they carry the top end Fenwick Warranty.
I believe these rods have the same blanks as Fenwicks HMX series but in a different color.
I was never a big fan of Fenwick, Loomis or St. Croix rods or blanks but these rods are really worth a close look and for $49.95 and a full warranty, I'd buy two of them before dropping $100 on one rod that may not even be comparable.

The fenwick's that you speak of at walmart, I do not believe that the walmart here in pa. carry the Fenwick, I will have to look again when I go. Thank you
