I just posted this on someone else's thread but perhaps not the best place. I understand that the Hummingbird 3000 has replaced the Zercom 2000 and with this change they gave the Hummingbird a bit more power wattage wise. Does anyoneone know if it makes much of a difference?

We have both mounted on our boat this year and were really looking forward to comparing them. However, when we got on the water, we lost power to one of the units, do to a late night , last minute hook-up job the night before a tourney. We just got a new boat and were scrambling to get her ready, and must have overlooked something. As soon as We can get them both set up right, I will post a comparison for you.
