I am thinking about buying 2 TT1604 Trolling Thunder Batterys from Cabelas. I have a 24 volt system and can't make the 1 24 volt battery fit in my battery compartment but I could get 2 of the 1604 in. I notice that they are 90min. I have run
wet cell 115min in the past. Wondering how much difference this will make. What has been your experience with this battery? Are they worth the extra cost? Thanks in Advance. Jim

Hi Jim. I was in the same boat (pun intended) with my 17' ProSport. To run a 24 volt system with conventional wetcells, I'd have had to put one under each console. With the Trolling Thunder ProPak, I could get both under the port console. So I bought them. They've been super, and now I believe they'd be my choice even without space limitations. Very fast recharge. The factory claims of very little fall-off in power after hundreds of recharges, unlike wetcells. My experience has been consistent with that claim. Their tech reps at www.hepi.com can perhaps shed more light on this for you if you wish. So far, going into 3rd year, wouldn't hesitate to get them again. Interested to see how many years they go. Good luck. John.

Ditto. I am very satisfied. I have had no capacity problems with them and cycle life and recharge rate are the best. I will get them again if they ever wear out. EJ
