Can anyone help? I'm looking for some info on Walleye fishing near Kenilworth IL. I'm heading up there to do some work and am going to have a day off while I'm there. I would like to hook up with a guide or someone who would like to swap a trip. Let me know thanks.

I would check the rock reefs that are uncovered by the wind that are located outside the harbors in the area. These "reefs" are really just the old rocks used as ballast by sailboats.

Also look for schools of perch or suspending bait and try trolling cranks over the tops of them. If the water in the area is clear I would try pulling spinners with big blades (5's) and green and orange blades to imitate a perch. Another good combo would be silver hatchet blades and green beads or a silver hatchet blade and blue beads to imitate an alewive or smelt. I suspect Big crawlers are the name of the game most of the time.

This is pretty much all I know, it can be hit or miss, and most of the puzzle is still out there somewhere, I can't wait to solve it (just need a boat...~3 years to go :) )

Good luck,

James
