I've been pulling an 18 foot walleye boat with my 1994 Suburban in the mountains since I got it with no problems, no complaints. 10 mpg is about right towing, maybe 14 without the boat with the 350 on a half ton truck. I have not put a dime into that truck outside of routine maintenance and would buy another one in a heartbeat. The excursion would be nice, but couldn't you buy a lot of gas with the difference?
