There is a major theft ring operating in Winnebago County. My neighbor lost 6-8 thousand bucks worth of stuff from his boat and garage last week. Last night the guy 2 doors down was ripped off too. This has been happening in our area on the northwest shore since last year. With all of our fishing friends staying in area motels let's be on the lookout for these midnight marauders. Take your stuff into your rooms at night and make sure everything is locked up.It might also be a good idea to ask at your motel if they are aware of this and see what they are doing about security. Good fishing to all of you.

Thanks

I live on Rickers Bay between Neenah and Oshkosh. My neighbor talked to a detective from Winn. Co. Monday afternoon and was told it's in this area. One local family had their home entered while they were sleeping.I'm not trying to be chicken little here, this is serious stuff. Doug Davis, who fished the MWC the last couple years is my neighbor who lost EVERYTHING from his Ranger. Take pictures of your equipment, his insurance company was pretty hard to deal with.

A few years ago we were having the same problem around our lake place. Many places were entered and much merchandise was stolen from a large area in Northern Minnesota. Surprise, surprise they found the culprits after going back through their records and seeing who was released from prison. Sure enough, a couple of yahoos were released just about the time the crime spree started. A little surveillance on these two individuals determined that they were responsible for almost every incident. They were arrested, AGAIN and crime has been almost non-existant since then.

If we must let these leeches on society out, we need to go and check-up on them every so often. It is these few individuals that are causing he majority of the crime. AAAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

Good Luck
