Looking for results to the tourney on Houghton Lake last weekend. I know some people were a little less than optimistic about catching large numbers of fish. Just curious as to how the conditions were and if the milfoil was killed off or what kind of effect the chemicals had on the lake as a whole.

The conditions for the tourney were less than ideal. Sunday morning air temp was 26 deg. with wind chill of 20 deg. I heard that on saturday 43 teams had zero legal fish (me being one of them), and on sunday 45 teams had zero. The winners pull 22 lbs over the two day tournament. Our team pulled 5.5 lbs and finished in the top forty.
I saw the boats that were applying the chemicals on the water on Wednesday but saw no effect to the weeds or fishing.
Real tough bite. I think the fish were there but the weather really shut them down.
