Suburban recall (1994 C/K Models)

I just received a letter from Chevy that indicated a need to reverse the polarity on the zero adjust brake switch. A simple fix that my dealer will do while I wait.

If you own a 1994 Chevrolet C/K model vehicle, you maight need to get it in for repair.

What this recall will prevent is the possible shorting out of the brake lamp switch on the peddle without warning. This would render your brake lights in-operable. Pretty dangerous especially when towing a boat.

Two days before I got the recall notice ( almost a year ago) my brake lights went out on the very same problem. Did you read the letter carefully aquaman? Did you see how GM Management and engineering alluded to the fact it was faulty assembly on the UAW's part and not because they GM didn't design a "keyed" plug so it could only be connected one way. I've had so many recalls from GM in ain't funny.
