I copied this from another board. thought it was funny.
A woman goes to Wal Mart to get her husband a new rod and reel for their anniversary. He'd been hinting for weeks and weeks about a new fishing outfit so she decided she'd do her best get one for him. Being a city girl and never one to dabble in the outdoors, she was having some difficulty picking the "perfect" rod and reel from their large selection. After several minutes of browsing she finally gave in and took a rod and reel combo over to the counter and asked for help. "Can I help you?", said the man behind the counter. "Yes, I'd like to know what kind of rod and reel this is." The man was very willing to help but explained to the woman that he was blind and couldn't tell by looking at it. "If you will drop the rod onto the counter, I can tell you everything you need to know about it."
She dropped the rod on the counter and to her suprise he said, "That's a 6 1/2 foot Shakespeare Ugly Stick with a Zebco 404 reel spooled with Stren Sensor......10 lb test." "It retails for $34.99 but this week it's on sale for $20.00.
"Wow, that's amazing!!!", she exclaimed. "I'll take it."
She reached into her purse for her pocket book and accidently dropped it onto the floor. As she was bending over to pick it up she accidently passed gas. "That's OK." She thought to herself. "He's blind and can't possibly know I'm the only one standing here."
She stood back up and the man said, "That'll be $34.50."
"I thought you said that it was on sale for $20.00. Where did you get $34.50?" she asked.
"Well Mam, the rod and reel outfit is $20.00. The duck call is $11.00 and the catfish bait is $3.50."
