Have my insurance with you Bob already but just curious to know if we are a casual weekend warrior tourney guy does the coverage you would write for a typical angler still cover us fully if anything were to happen while on the way to the tourney or while on the water participating in the tourney?

This is a great question, There are a lot of companies that have restrictions for tournaments. I have seen guys with Great Lakes as exclusions. Canada exclusions as well as tournaments. I try to educate all my clients on the differences between Marine speciality policies and standard Property and Casuality insurance companies. The companies we write with know exactly how and where we use are boats. I design coverage's for just what we need. There are no restrictions for tournaments, Canada,Great lakes ect. The thing you need to realise is all I do is watercraft insurance. Would you buy insurance for your $100,000 Classic car from someone who specialises in life insurance? I'm fishing all of the Eastern division M.W.C. tournaments as well as a F.L.W. and a A.I.M. tournament. My boat is insured with the same carrier as yours. I hope this helps you guys to better understand. I look forward to seeing you on the water. Thanks Bob Luellen
