Monday I was fishing the US side of the Rainy east of Clementson when 2 Canadian DNR types came form the east on the US side of the river, they would stop and glass boats on the Canadian side of the river for a minute, then move in for the arrests. My question is can they use the US side to do what they where doing????

I don't really care where they are when they detect a violation, but I am VERY happy that they do something about the violation!

I was told once that the MNR people cannot legally enter the US to make an arrest. But if they have a border crossing official with them they can. Most of the time the vioaltion that is given is not have a border crossing permit. You have to pay attention or you might get hooked.
