I stocked my pond with some walleye. All about 7-8". I caught a few today and their tail fins had been chewed up. Presumably by my bass or the other walleye.

Will their tails grow back to original shape?

Yes they will grow back . The males were them off when they spawn . You also might have a very active turtles . You might want to set a turtle trap. We helped our local fish and Game run a walleye rearing pond for many years . When the fish were removed from the rearing pond every fall one of the fins on the bottom side was clipped with scissors. First the left one and the next year the right one . Then the Fish & Game could identify them when they were test netting. At the end of the first year in the lake tey had grown back by more than half

Yes, fins will regenerate. However the rays will be wavy rather than straight.
