I Own a Crestliner sportsman SS 16'6"which is the same boat as the angler 16 but without the stuff in it. This weekend I was out on Lake Erie And I cracked 3 welds in the middle of the boat. The ribs that run from side to side of the boat weren't made long enough on those 3 ribs and they cracked on the edge of the weld. Crestliner will warranty the repair by adding to the rib and rewelding.I picked this boat because of a 20 year warranty and no rivets to leak and except that it was in my price range this boat looked strong and it would last me and it let me down and now my summer is shot along with my patched/hackedup boat.Caution to someone who owns this same boat and if someone has had the same problem I would appreciate you responding.

Rather than being without a boat, or having a "patched" boat, why does't Crestliner give you a new boat.
There are lots of your boat in showrooms, so it should be no big deal to have a new boat to you in a day!!!

Warrenty means Warrenty!!!
Take care

The boat is a 2001 and I'm only on payment number 11.

Dude,
As Sinkmaster Clinton used to say, "I feel your pain"...

In the middle of it myself, although not a Crestliner, mine has rivets that started leaking after the welds broke. Gonna be a long hot summer! :(

Jim,

I bought my son a 2001 Angler Tiller last year, and he has had zero problems. He runs it on Rainy Lake which can dish out some pretty ugly days, and again no problems.

Take Care
