Just curious as to which brand of walleye rigs you guys pull using bottom bouncers. I don't have the time to start making my own, but would like some feedback as to what styles/types work well. I have heard that the Northland holographic series of rigs work well.
These rigs feature a holographic colorado blade, 5 beads, a 48" leader and some feature a trailer hook. Going to northern Saskatchewan next week for a 5 day trip and will let you know how these work with minnows and live leaches.

Reel Bait's Bead Back spinners get my nod. Big selection of bead colors and all come with quick change clevis allowing you to change blades easily. Quality components and the price is far better than most competitors. http://www.reelbait.com

I don't want to sound like a "know it all" but I've spent at least two weeks every summer for 20 years in either Saskatchewan or Manitoba and I can't imagine you needing live bait up there. I've never needed anything other than jig and twister-tail particularly as early as it is up there right now. They've had a cold spring and some of the camps lost weeks this year because of late ice.
Good Luck!

I'll second Richard's vote for Reelbait's rigs.

Bought about 30 or so a few weeks ago and so far they have outproduced all the other rigs I have pulled. The Glo Tiger, Fire Tiger, Rainbow Trout, and Rainbow Trout beads with Gold CO #4 blade worked the best for me. Bought a few extra bags of blades to change out and make my selection more diverse.

The B&B tackle harness holders he has work great also.

Good luck,
