Don't know but saw a lot of negative responses on here 2 weeks ago. My buddy had the same experience as the others had mentioned. he ordered a rod 4 weks ago and was told it would be delivered several times now. Guess what, still know rod. Has anyone else had good or bad experiences?
Bought one a week ago, ordered it On Monday. Was delivered Friday. He is a new small business, thats growing so rapidly that he has a hard time keeping up. I think you just need to call and remind them. Craig

I don't know about that last message. As a business owner it is your responsibilty to handle growth. I have also heard that the rods look pretty bad. A few have said that they felt good though. Who knows.

I just got my rods about two weeks ago. Kevin explained to me that he had trouble with the shipment of a number of rods. Seems they cann't track them through the shipper. Don't know who's to blame but my order was one that was lost so about a week after the expected delivery date and no rods,I called and he explained the problem and said he had two more rods in stock and would send them out that day. He only asked that if the original two showed up that I give him a call and I agreed that I would. Got my rods two days later. I think you just have to get in touch and let them know where you are. Now as far as those rods go I absolutely love the 6' Fiber Pro rod for jigging. Light , feel , balance, it has it all. I also have a 6'6" Fiber Select for rigging and I cann't decide if its any better than my Loomis blanked 7'. Time on the water will tell me more. I'll let you know. I'll bet I have a 6'6" or 7' Fiber Max before it's allsaid and done.... Good luck... Skeeter Boy

I don't own one but fished with a friend that bought one and he likes it. He said the sensitivity is better than any rod he has owned. He made some reference to the rod scaring him because of the transmitted vibration of a fish picking up a jig - he thought the rod was jumping out of his hands.
Just my two cents.

Do these guys make their own blanks incorporating the fiber-optic strands right in with the graphite or do they add the fiber-optic strands to an already existing blank? Steve (IA)
BriaM, What I meant was that as a new business just getting going. The orders coming in at 10-20 rods a week and all of a sudden the orders add up to 1200 rods as the owner told me he had. I don't care if your a new business or Wal-mart size it will take anyone time to gear up and get quality help to produce those items, I doubt anyone off the street could build one with a days training, maybe in a week or two they could. As for my rod next to my other rods , its as good a job as any of the rods I have including a loomis rod. As for the the difference I'd have to give the edge to the figrig. A lot of sensitivity in this rod. CW

I have 2 Fibermax rods. There was a little mixup on shipping mine but I am glad I waited. The rods are better than anything I have used in the past. It takes a little while to get used to the sensitivity. You tend to set the hook on light bites since they are felt so easily. I have snagged a few fish on lite bites that were probably hitting my line as they swam by. The rods are super.

I don't understand how laying a fiber-optic strand along side of a graphite blank will increase the sensitivity of the blank? Steve (IA)

I have two of the 662's and had my clients using them today on a Big Winni guide trip. It was a tough bite but we did manage to get a limit of walleye. They are sensitive and it certainly helps when you are guiding anglers that don't fish much and need all the help they can get. I like them.

It is positioned inside the blank cavity. It is attached at the center of the tip and the center of the butt. This provides a perfect conduit for any vibration at the tip.
