Are submersive fishing lights legal in Wisconsin? I'm fishing Lost Land/Teal lakes and need a definitive answer. I do not need to violate the law, so please be sure. Thank You!

I am certain that it is illegal, although I could not find it in the regs.

Wisconsin fishermen...
submersive lights are legal as long as you are fishing with rod and reel...using the light to attract fish in order to spear them is illegal...the Wisconsin DNR e-mailed back with there answer...thanks to everyone!:raisin:

"please be sure" why ask here then. you could be "positive" if you google www.widnr (http://www.widnr) and find a phone number to a dnr office and call it. just saying.

because I'd thought of giving someone like you a chance to be a wise guy...I called Einstein and they told me they didn't know and had a warden e-mail me the next day...so,:chillpill:
