I've been sold on Power Pro for the last several years. I've got it on all my rods. 2/10 for jigging, 6/20 for heavy jigging and all my bait cast and 8/50 on my trolling and muskie rods. I use the line according to diameter, not strength.

I'm another PowerPro convert. Good stuff! Limp, waterproof (Teflon coated), no memory, near zero-stretch, strong and very abrasion resistant. I have it on all my trolling and baitcasting set-ups. I've got it on one of my jigging rods and the verdict is out on that set up set.

I tried Power-Pro for the first time in Brazil on a December Peacock Bass trip. The line took unbelieveable punishment and performed great. It is easy to cast and is limp and abraison resistant-It's a super product!!! BTW It trolls great!
Question?

I have used Berkley Whiplash for everything from fishing for Amberjack in the Gulf of Mexico (60lb same as 12lb Mono) to Walleye fishing at Mosquito Lake (20lb same as 4lb mono). With all of the braided lines on the market I chose Berkley Whiplash.

Yes, its a braid.
And I'll vote for it too.
Better to have and not need than to need and not have!

Sorry about that. 8/30 and 12/50. Not that you could break either one very easily and diameter isn't that much different either.
