Where can i buy Shimano Aluminum spare spools? Need one for my symetre spinning reel. I checked out shimano.com and could not find anything about purchasing spare parts. Thanks for the info. Bdunk

You can get them directly from Shimano if you just call them on the telephone. Note: be sure to tell them what model you have, not just Symmetre, but the series of Symmetre. For example, I have a Stradic 2000FE. I also have a 2000FG. The FG series spool will go on the FE but does not work like the correct one for the FE. The FG spool rubs on the FE but put it on the FG and it works fine. FG spools are slightly taller. Hope this helps. I did purchase a 4000 spool once, directly from Shimano out in California.
