I am looking(Buying)an Lund Alaskan 20' walkthrough 120hp max
99% going to buy the F115 4-stroke Yamaha.
They however come with the option of the
counter-rotating prop.
I am wondering if anyone has used this prop???

B2; I'm not a Yamaha expert but I have a 115 Yamaha although not four-stroke. I think the TRP (twin rotating proppelars) option is only listed as available on the V Max 150 TRP OX66, thats according to the 2000 brocure. Maybe I don't have all the current info..The Yamaha has been great to me, now in 3rd season. Good Luck... Skeeter Boy

OK It is "Counter-rotation" listed as an option in the back...???

Typically, the only reason a person would go with the counter rotation prop is if they were running twin outboards. One outboard would run a typical prop configuration, and the second outboard would run a counter rotation prop, so that the torque from each prop would offset the other.
