My son is looking at canoes and is looking at the Coleman ram-x and I was wondering if anybody has had any experiance with them good or bad . Thank you for any help you can give me

The Coleman Rams' are a good canoe. Don't get the 15 footer - it's way too tipsy. The 17 or 19 is far better and doesn't take much more energy to drag and paddle around. Much better stability.
There are better canoes out there but that depends on your (or his) purse strings. Old Town canoes are my first choice but they're nearly double a Coleman. The Rams' are very good canoes and worth the money but stay away from the 15 footer! This comes from a guy that does White Water CANOEING!!

I have the 15ft coleman, and I don't find it tippy at all. You can roll it, but that is true of any canoe. Great bang for the buck... Mike in E.A.
