About a year ago I purchased a pinnacle peak reel it broke when I set the hook on a bass. It broke rite where the reel is held on the rod on the seat the composite stuff broke. But after I sent it in it got fixed promptly and they were very nice about it. Then about a month later it happend again.
So if you are thinking about buying a pinnacle peak reel I would reconsider because it is really frustrating when you set the hook on a fish and the reel falls to the bottom of the boat.
