View Full Version : Browning fishing rods
Midas series IM7 graphite, are these good rods? Don't know much about Browning fishing gear. Thanks!

I use a browning "Walleye Special". Had it for 7 years or so. My #1 jigging rod. I don't think much of the other browning rods. Just my personal preference.- Kevin B

I had a Browning salmon rod 8'6" 10-20lb that was perfect for downrigger salmon fishing. I broke it after landing a 7.5 foot sturgeon on the Columbia River -- put the rod in the holder while trying to grab the monster, then lost my grip on the fish :(
Anyway, not the most sensitive rod but it was great for its purpose.

Believe they are overpriced for their value. Good luck.

Remember that Browning is not it's own entity. Browning rods are actually Quantum/Zebco. Don't let the name fool you.
